Need a reboot? EAT THIS UP!
WHOLESOMENESS OVERLOAD…….
As dedicated support workers, nourishing ourselves with wholesome food isn’t just a choice; it’s a crucial commitment. Just as we empower and lift up others, we recognise that our own well-being is the foundation of the care we provide! By prioritising proper nutrition, we ensure we have the energy, vitality and resilience needed to be a steadfast source of support.
Wholesome foods are not hard to find. These foods provide our bodies with sustenance, fuel and can provide us with specific benefits. Salmon is a great choice for extra brain power as it is high in Omega-3 and docosahexaenoic acid DHA (we can’t say it either..) which makes up around 90% of the brain's omega-3 content! Sore tummers? Try having a bit of natural pot set Greek yogurt! Natural Greek yogurt is produced from live bacterial cultures which can help support the good bacteria that already live in your digestive system!
